Mr. Zedillo was president of Mexico from December 1994 to December 2000. He is director of the Center for the Study of Globalization and professor in the field of international economics and politics at Yale University. He is chairman of the board of the Global Development Network, an institution supporting research on development issues done in developing countries. He also serves on the board of the Institute for International Economics, the International Crisis Group, and the World Economic Forum.
