Stéphanie Giry is a Senior Editor at Foreign Affairs magazine and a freelance writer. She has written for Foreign Affairs, The New York Times, The New Republic, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Legal Affairs and the Associated Press, and has received a grant from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Before turning to journalism, Stéphanie practiced international law in a large corporate firm and at the United Nations.
