(Germany) Chairman, Supervisory Board, ThyssenKrupp AG
Mr. Cromme is chairman of the supervisory board of TyssenKrupp AG, a multinational steel and engineering firm headquartered in Düsseldorf. He first joined the Krupp Group in 1986, and became chairman of the executive board in 1999, and chairman of the supervisory board in 2001. He is also chairman and member of many other supervisory boards, including those of Volkswagen, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Lufthansa. Dr. Cromme is also chairman of the German Corporate Governance Code Commission and the European Roundtable of Industrialists.
