Mr. Mulroney was prime minister of Canada from 1984 until 1993. He entered the House of Commons in 1983 as the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party, and became prime minister the following year, leading his party to the largest majority in Canadian history. He was re-elected with a majority four years later. He is currently a senior partner at the law firm Ogilvy Renault in Montreal, and serves on numerous corporate boards and advisory councils.
