FROMAN: Hello. (Laughter.) I’m surprised you all came back from cocktails. (Laughter.) Very nice of you.
MIEBACH: Hello.
FROMAN: Hello, Michael.
MIEBACH: Hello, Mike.
FROMAN: Good to see you.
MIEBACH: Good to see you, too.
FROMAN: Most of you know I used to work with Michael. I used to work for Michael. So we’ve known each other for a long time, and it’s a great pleasure to have you here.
MIEBACH: I’m looking forward—really looking forward.
FROMAN: I hope you feel that way at the—
MIEBACH: You’re going to ask—you shall ask me tough questions.
FROMAN: Tough questions.
MIEBACH: And now I’m in a slightly disadvantageous position. (Laughter.) So I might need to pay the price. (Laughs.)
FROMAN: So you’re here not just as CEO of Mastercard, who is a corporate member, but as a newly elected, relatively newly elected, life member of the Council. Congratulations. (Applause.) Now, you know, to be a life member of the Council you have to be a U.S. citizen. And you recently became a U.S. citizen.
