CFR’s sixth Conference on Diversity in International Affairs examined how best to increase ethnic, racial, gender, socioeconomic, and intellectual diversity within the foreign policy establishment. The conference took on a new urgency against the backdrop of the Trump administration and its policies, and provided fresh insights into the pragmatic benefits that greater diversity can bring.
